Original Dub of Marian Rivera's Sunsilk Commercial

This commercial is the original version which was aired before being pulled and dubbed over with the voice of someone who IS NOT Marian Rivera. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Marian Rivera. Sher's adorable. But really someone's gotta help her out during shooting and dubbing with the pronunciation and stuff. The problem was apparent when she took on the role of Bella Aldama in Marimar. There she was forced to gobble up and spit out whole chunks of English that she clearly didn't have time to prepare for. I don't blame her. Not everyone's got great English. But the production crew- the director, has got to make sure her casting's right. Bella Aldama is a rich 'inglisera'. They should've made certain she acted wholly the part.

Public Nudity is now allowed in the Makati area...

Not just allowed, but even encouraged. Take a look at this sign under the walkbridge between Landmark and Greenbelt 3.

Grate It! C'mon!

This is why we our med schools get bad rappz...

Was ordering at a McDonald's when I saw this...
See, I heard tractions were painful but this is ridiculous. ;)

Check out Chester's post on Desperate Housewive's wapow comment on Filipinos. Methinks it's not a big deal, but hey, whatevaugh...
Oh, and Joan Rivers is a b*tch, people say. And she says Filipinos are dog-eaters. By definition, a b*tch is a female dog. Oh, look, fifth-grade math...

Gawin na namang tanga ang tv viewers

"Halika na sa bitch, Halika na sa bitch. Akin ka na bitch, Akin ka na bitch."

What a load of crap. Then the writers will laugh at the poor people who start singing it cuz they don't know any better. DO NOT tell me Michael V. and co. didn't intend that. The song is studded with tons of innuendo, as is every other novelty track Filipinos dish. Lito ba Camo?

This is what I get for watching Star Talk

not a fan, but when it's on what can you do...

Lolit Santos on Gabby Concepcion...

"Ok na, pero napansin ko lang wala na yung affection...

(ok na sana, cuz it made sense that she no longer cares as much for him... then she goes)

Hindi na ko naapektohan. I'm not affected."

Ah, yun pala ang ibig sabihin ng affection ngayon.

Epic Win!

Some more TV booboos!

This time from TV commercials...

4g! Forever Young, Eternally Beautiful! I wish!
-Bea Alonzo

(Never gonna happen, eh?)

Dati (before) my hair breaks easily when wet.
-Kris Aquino

(So, uh... when was this exactly?)

Also a text has been circulating regarding KC Concepcion alleged TV commercial grammar booboo.

"My mom always told me..."

The texter went on to act smart saying "perhaps she always ate, always sang, always drank..."

Seriously, if you're gonna nitpick grammar, make sure you know what you're talking about.

Always can be attached to a past tense verb to say that one did something a LOT (or well, always) in the past, and possibly it's no longer being done.

:) Sleepy. My leg's busted from Muay Thai. Ja Ne.

Up Now? Up Later?

Up Next nga naman kasi... Goodness... Seriously, does NO ONE in Startalk know what else to call their news cues?
