The millennium was ushered in by what is still considered the biggest fighting game to date, alongside Street Fighter alpha 3. Marvel VS Capcom 2 took EVERY character from the X-men and Marvel fighting games, as well as the ones from the previous vs series and placed them in a three on three mega battle setup. Now, twelve years later, that game you used to play in large screen consoles in the arcade can now fit snug in your pocket! This new port utilizes the Dreamcast version of the game, which allows the collector in you to have a goal of finishing the roster of 56 as well as collect alternate palettes/colors for each character and even galleries! The modified controls also enable you to pull of each character's attacks more easily, with the option of using arcade controls as well. This game is a definite must-have for fans of the original especially with Avengers fever still running high.
Some thoughts:
*It occurred to me that with the release of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, we now have the complete blue and gold strike force appearing in the games.
*Some reviewers complain about unresponsive controls but I personally haven't experienced them.
*buying from the store, keep coming back for price changes. I got Adamantium Wolverine for a little more than 200 Pts.
