Researching for our next movie project my school club will be doing (Power Rangers: Mystic Force) I ran into some very interesting little info. We've got Filipino Power Rangers!!!
Jeffrey Parazzo, (March 29, 1978) is an American actor of Filipino and New Zealander heritage, plays the role of Trent Fernandez/White Dino Thunder Ranger. He was born in Toronto, Ontario. He originally auditioned for the role of the Blue Dino Thunder Ranger but was thought to fit better as the mysterious White Ranger. He would later voice Thomas Oliver/Black Dino Thunder Ranger in the Power Rangers SPD team up episode "Wormhole" when Disney decided not to bring back Jason David Frank because of costs (as a result, the Black DT Ranger is not seen unmorphed in that episode). At this time, many people do not see why they could not bring back JDF because of costs. (taken from Wikipedia)
He also stars in this film- Sugar. But not as a lead.
Next person on the list is another White Ranger, this time from Saban's Power RangersWild Force
She is Jessica Rey who plays Alyssa Enrile in the (now tagalized) Power Rangers Wild Force.
For some odd reason I can't copy her bio off her main site so I'll just the provide links.
and here's Michael Copon, from Saban's Power Rangers Time Force who also appears in 'One Tree Hill'.
Michael Copon was born on November 13th, 1982 in Chesapeake, Virginia, USA. Michael Copon was cast by the Fox Kids Network as Blue Ranger Lucas less than a year after he graduated from Deep Creek High School (2001).
Copon can't believe how quickly he advanced from high school senior and defensive end on Deep Creek's football team in 2000 to print model in Los Angeles to Blue Ranger. People in Chesapeake say that Mike Copon is a nice kid. Religious. A little shy. Handsome. ''A sharp-looking kid,'' said his football coach at Deep Creek, David Cox. "I'm not surprised that he's gone this far this fast.'' George Kartis is a local photographer and agent who probably sent Copon on his way when he alerted folks in the Los Angeles modeling mix about Mike's husky good looks. One day, Copon is working for Los Angeles Models and Talent, and the next day he's auditioning to be a Power Ranger. Kartis says what others say about Copon. ''Mike's a religious, great-looking kid with a very supportive mother.'' That would be Monica Zelasko.
His decision to pursue acting was made on a total leap of faith, a move this native of Chesapeake, Virginian, is no stranger to. "My parents taught me to follow my heart."
That advice is paying off. When Michael Copon ditched a lucrative modeling gig in Hong Kong, little did he know he'd wind up on The WB. Copon's first big break came when he was cast in One Tree Hill on The WB as Felix, a hunky new dude on the block who's got a serious affection for danger. Here, Copon, who also happens to be an ex Power Ranger (think Lucas a la Power Rangers Time Force), fills you in on what's coming your way.
My character is: "A jerk! But, he's also funny and playful. I think the playful part is starting to rub off on me, but other than that I am nothing like him. For one thing, I can read for hours and hours. I don't think Felix's ever owned a book."
My hoops dream: "In my free time I like to play basketball. I don't play as much as I should. I don't know yet if they're going to have my character on the [basketball] team, but I sure wouldn't mind."
Being in the spolight is: "Definitely, quite an experience. Before I came to Los Angeles, I had no idea how many different types of women there are. The girls here all have their own sense of style. It's very cool."
Making out like a bandit?: "Who's Felix going to make out with first? I dunno. I think the lead girls are really turned off by him because he's such a jerk. They're definitely too good for him."
Growing up, I was: "In my own world. I was a little heavier than I am now. I wasn't popular. I spent most of the time focusing on art. It's so ironic because by high school I looked totally different and the girls who wouldn't give me the time of day in 7th and 8th grade were suddenly all over me. I'm grateful for the way I grew up. I didn't rely on my looks or anything for happiness. I think that's [kept] me grounded."

Here's a list of Asian Power Rangers cast members
The late Thuy Trang [Vietnamese] - Trini/Yellow Ranger [1st season] [Interesting piece of trivia, the Yellow Ranger in the original Japanese version of Power Rangers; Zyuranger was actually a guy, the same with the Yellow Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force/GaoRanger!]
Her character as a Vietnamese wasn't really established. Also the name Trini belonged to the original hispanic actress in the pilot episode. Thuy Trang died in a car accident.
Johnny Yong Bosch [Korean] - Adam Park/Black Power Ranger/Green Zeo Ranger/Green Turbo Ranger [1st Season thru to Power Rangers Zeo and 1st half of PR Turbo] Also does the voice of Vash the Stampede in the English version of Trigun. His character is also Korean and the series has him traveling to Korea to change from Black ranger to the new Green Zeo Ranger IV. His character lasted through 3 seasons (and 2 movies), which should explain the costume changes.
Patricia Ja Lee [Korean] - Cassie/Pink Turbo Ranger/Pink Space Ranger [2nd half of PR Turbo thru to Power Rangers in Space] . It is unclear whether her character is of Korean or Chinese descent.
Archie Kao [Chinese] - Kai Chen/Blue Galaxy Ranger [Power Rangers Lost Galaxy] Also stars in CSI as Archie Johnson and starred in "Jet Li's The One"
Jason Chan - Cam Watanabe/Green Samurai Ranger [Chinese but character is Japanese] - Power Rangers Ninja Storm [Has a huge fandom amongst the female members of the Power Rangers message board known as RangerBoard and is also a fully trained doctor IRL!]
Michael Chaturantabut [Thai] - Chad/Blue Lightspeed Ranger [Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue] Also starred in very cool ad in the UK for Lynx/Axe! ^_^
VILLAINS (I'm not sure where they are from)
Jennifer L Yen - Vypra [Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue]
Sin Wong - Toxica [Power Rangers Wild Force]
There are no Asians in the last two runs of Power Rangers (SPD 2005 and the new Mystic Force 2006). It remains to be seen if there will be any rangers inthe 2007 PR Season, Treaure Fleet (tentative title). But as you can see Asians and Filipinos (the most there have ever been from Asia) are an integral part of PR history.
Trivia: The Ninja Turtles once crossed over with Power Rangers In Space (6th season). Too bad it wasn't shown in the Philippines. That woulda rawked! ^^^
